Westchester Marriage and Family Therapy, PLLC
Currently accepting FIDELIS health insurance.
WMFT is currently an out-of-network provider (with the exception of Fidelis). What the heck does that mean?
Well, what it means is.....GOOD NEWS...you can start therapy ASAP and get covered!
Before we get started, here are a few information questions to ask your insurance provider:
1- Do I have mental health of behavioral health coverage?
2- What specifically is my coverage for out-of-network?
3- How may sessions are covered annually?
4- What percentage am I responsible for?
5- How much will I be reimbursed once my receipt and/or claim is submitted?
6- Any restrictions?
***Out-of-Network providers are covered in a different way vs in-network. Most insurance companies allow up to $5000 out-of-network coverage. In most cases, the client will pay for the session upfront, then the therapist will provide a monthly receipt outlining sessions. The receipt is then submitted to your insurance and you can receive upwards of 80% reimbursement.***
